Boy Mom!
It's official...I'm a BOY MAMA 100% and I am beyond excited, soooo thankful, super surprised, and ready for the continuation of my calling.
Raising boys to be godly men has always been such a deep passion of mine...but to be honest, I didn't know if I'd always be a boy mom or if bows and all things girl would enter our lives :) Unless the ultrasound technician was way off and saw something different...I'm having another boy! I'm ready for more Legos, potty jokes, dinosaurs, dirty shoes, sports games and messy faces! But I feel OVERJOYED when I think of the extra kisses I'll get, the "you're so pretty mama" comments after being naughty, the hugs between soccer water breaks, the forts, the make-believe, and the late night snuggles. Being a boy mama is a calling, and it is my calling.
Maybe this passion has grown because of my past, maybe it's because of my love for sports and adventure, or maybe the Lord knew exactly what our little family needed.
Most likely it's all of the above because God is so good like that and He uses IT ALL in our lives. He's using every part of who I was, who I am, and now He's molding me to become closer to Him because of who He wants me to be. And He's using my children to help in that process. What a beautiful thing. What a gift.
Whether you're a mom of 1 munchkin or 7, you have a high calling. God has gone before us and He will walk with us through each struggle, joy, trial, and celebration.
