Family Photos - April 2019

Autumn Rae Photography took these beautiful photos on a windy and very chilly April day here in Colorado. I actually scheduled photos with her so that she could capture our baby gender reveal, but as you may know, I had a miscarriage and things took a turn.

I'm SO thankful we still took family photos. It's so important to me to get photos done when our baby turns 1. We were a little late since Nate's almost 15 months, but hey, we're moving and life's crazy :)

As far as outfits go, I try to be pretty basic and wanted springy colors. I find if everyone is in patterns, it gets chaotic. So what I like to do is stick one kid in a solid, one kid in a pattern, and one kid in a softer pattern (like Wesley with the subtle polka dots) and then add bowties and jeans. My dress from McKie Rae was perfect in my opinion because it had a pattern with a similar blue to Nate's and Andrew's shirts. It was also flowy, long enough, and gorgeous! Lastly, Andrew always looks sharp with a collared shirt and jeans so he's the easy one ;) Match a few of the colors and you're good to go!

I could share about 75 photos but I tried to stick to the ones I'll be framing in my new house!!!
