June : Letters To My Busy Boys

I probably shouldn't even be writing this right now because I just got done yelling at the two older boys because they WONT LISTEN! But...all is calm now and everyone's sleeping, which means blogging time for me, haha :) little baby five month photoNate : You are 5 months old now, you got your first tooth which means our nights have been rough, and you are still the happiest baby...when held. The second I put you down and leave the room, you scream. It's been a bit frustrating because you're super attached to me, but at the same time you are soooooo giggly and both your smile and laugh are contagious. You just always have to have someone giving you attention or holding you. You're so loved by your big brothers and you're so much fun to take photos of because you always have a smile now. You love sleeping on your tummy, you're not a fan of any foods we've tried yet, and you are in the 90th percentile for height. I think you'll be the tallest of the bunch :) We love you! little toddler in front barnReid : You started becoming super interested in the potty this month and I'm super happy about it. You've pooped on the potty for a week straight but you still had a couple accidents. I blame myself because I didn't catch it soon enough or ask you if you needed to go. One of the times I was on the phone with Nana, one time I was nursing Nate, and the other I had to go to the bathroom. It's hard with 2 other kids to watch because I can't give my 100% attention just to you! But...we're slowly getting there and I'm so proud of you! You had your two year check up this month and you're in the 99th percentile for both height and weight and measuring as big as a 4 1/2 year old hahaha! I knew that's how you'd measure because you're so thick and the cutest!!!! We love your hugs, sweet little kisses, and never-ending conversations. You're quite the talker and still have to do everything Wesley does. You're a big bundle of love and we love you so much! 4 year old hanging on fenceWesley : You are quite the kiddo. We've had a difficult month with you and my guess it's because you're not on a routine and set schedule every day like you are while in school. I decided I hate summer for that reason. I feel like everyone is restless and I have to constantly be doing something, going somewhere, or entertaining you guys and it's slowly killing me. No,  I do not want to chase you all day when it's 100 degrees outside. I love you, but no. I'm VERY excited for the Fall and I know you will be too because you'll have preschool and a lot of fun things ahead. I've been trying to make up games, do lots of quiet times, have something special happening every other day, a lot of playdates, and letting you guys have movie days when it's too hot out or rainy. You're still a great big brother and give so much love to Nate and Reid. You and Reid are two peas-in-a-pod and I wonder if I'll ever be able to put you in your own rooms again since you love being together all the time. You're smart, intuitive, hilarious, fast, athletic, and kind. We love you. I am the luckiest mom to have you three as my sons.Love you,Mama
