Pink Blush : Lace Fitted Skirt
One of my best friends invited me to the Nutcracker this year and I immediately wanted to find something festive for the occasion! What better place to start than Pink Blush :) That's right, it's the amazing fashion maternity stop for everything you need for your entire pregnancy!I was looking through dresses, skirts and tunics and when I saw this cute skirt, I thought there was no way I could pull it off. Its waistline is so high and I'm used to wearing bottoms low on my waist, not right below my boobs. BUT...I took the risk and actually really love it! I might even wear it for Christmas! I love that the waist is elastic and very stretchy. And I love the burgundy lace especially this time of year! There are even 3 different colors to meet your pregnancy skirt needs year round! :)When I looked at sizing online, I tried to measure my hips (with my sons play tape measure) and thought I would be a medium. Usually I'm a size 4, but with pregnancy I ALWAYS size up one or two. I thought there would be no way I'd be a small, so this is actually a medium that I'm wearing. I feel like I could wear it until I'm 40 weeks pregnant though so I guess I could have gotten a small if it was just for my second trimester only. It's December here and 60 degrees so with our seasons and ever-changing weather, a skirt can actually work in the winter. So if you're looking for something you can wear to work, date night, or just something new and fun to style your bump, this skirt is the perfect addition to your maternity closet! You'll be comfortable the whole time wearing it (thank you elastic waistband) and you'll be sure to be a show stopper because the way it shows off that baby bump is beyond darling! Enjoy!!! xoxoNicole
