Welcome Fall

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch with my parents! We had so much fun. I think Wesley is finally at the age where he really enjoys things like this. We always have to leave around noon for naps, but it still gives us time to enjoy events in the morning. When we got to the pumpkin patch, he wouldn't stop running...and running. He barely stopped to look at the pumpkins because he was too interested in the field. When he finally got tired, he wanted to find all the "nice" pumpkins and put them in a pile. And of course, he loved the rocks. :)Wesley also loved the little games since all of them included throwing a ball and knocking something down. Plus he got to make a spider sucker with Papa, so he was loving his sweet  little life. :) Then I bounced on this huge bouncer with him for quite some time. I definitely got my work out in for the day! It amazes me how much energy Wesley has.Reid was a dream as always and I even nursed him while sitting in the pumpkin patch. Then he finally fell asleep in the stroller for the first time! Such a good boy. There were also huge tractors for the kids to check out, dozens of food trucks, and Andrew and I even got a turkey leg! I don't know if what we paid for it was worth it, but at least we got a lot of protein :)Both boys crashed on the drive home and the funniest thing happened! Wesley suddenly woke up from his nap and said "Nana...bacon" then fell back asleep. He cracks me up. I was laughing so hard I almost woke him back up! I don't know why he's saying it so much, but I guess I should make some! Ha! Kids sure bring a lot of joy.I'm like every other girl who loves Fall. The crisp air, cozy clothes, and a fresh start with a new season gets me every year. I'm so thankful we have fun things to do around town, and we'll definitely be going to the same place next year! Happy Weekend!
